Your step by step Toolkit to harness the potential of street food

Welcome to our Toolkit to assist regions throughout Europe to set up Regional Alliances to stimulate their street food culture, provide an enterprise eco system to support street food entrepreneurs and to connect into the dynamic tourism potential of their region.  Street food is the very epiphany of food culture, it is about raw talent, fresh approaches and storytelling so can be a very compelling food tourism component.

This Toolkit aims to give you insights into how Street Food Regional Alliances are formed, structured and sustained.  We illustrate some of our experiences and approaches from those building successful Street Food Regional Alliances that are making a real impact in our regions in UK – West Midlands and Northern Ireland, Germany- Berlin, The Netherlands – Friesland and Ireland – Upper Shannon Erne region.   The Toolkit explains why engaging with your various public and private stakeholders from the start can lead to a much more sustainable model.

We are delighted you are investigating Toolkit but did you know that this is just one of our supports? We have also developed a one of its kind FREE e-learning course for street food entrepreneurs (available from January 2017).  This course can also be delivered in a classroom setting.
